The original Nest Thermostat is optimized for individual home use. In office settings, however, it fails to uplift users or support collective comfort. Our challenge was to design an experience that balances personal feedback with shared control making employees feel heard while strengthening a sense of workplace connection

Sprout by Nest reimagine climate control with a friendy, gamified twist. Instead of numbers, employees vote on how they feel hot, cold, or comfy and the room adjusts accordingly. A customizable plant mascot reflects feedback in real time, encouraging interaction and making temperature control a team experience.
